GLASS FIBER-REINFORCED POLYMER (GFRP) REINFORCEMENT IN INDUSTRIAL AND CIVIL CONSTRUCTION – LIGHTER, STRONGER, AND CHEAPER THAN STEEL

Manufacturing and supplying of GFRP rebars

OOO “Tekhnoplast” Manufacturing Company manufactures and supplies composite rebars of periodic profile (6-30 cm. and more in diameter) made of basalt or glass fibers bound with epoxy-diane resin based polymer.

GFRP rebars are manufactured in any length (may also be coiled) with ribbed surface of helical profile.

Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) rebars are manufactured with the use of TECHPRO 2000 equipment (NPO ‘’TekhKom’’, OOO) and are widely used in industrial&civil construction, road building, mining sector; they are also used in concrete constructions, before prestressed or nonprestressed reinforcement, instead of traditional reinforcing steel.
